Preface

Updated: Apr 17, 2019

In the early 80's, Ann and I started and successfully ran three (3) small businesses. In 1988, we purchased the existing fifteen (15) site Birch Point Campground from D. Pelletier as our fourth business endeavor. According to Pelletier, the abutting land owners led by Roger Collin had maliciously driven Pelletier out of business. Immediately after, we purchased the 15-site campground, Roger Collin formed an Association with the sole purpose of preventing us from succeeding with our latest business venture. Collin and his Association immediately convinced the Town to illegally close nine (9) of our campsites. Our campground remains with only six (6) sites to this day.

Over the years, the town of Madawaska's Board members from the Board of Appeals (BOA), Planning Board (PB) and Selectmen (BOS), Town Manager Christina Therrien, Code Enforcement officer's, (CEO) Bob Ouellet and Andrew Dube continued harassment, discrimination, and malicious prosecutions against us. On September 4, 2018, we filed a lawsuit against the Town, it's employees, and Board Members with a seven count tort claim.

This blog is intended to expose these Constitutionally protected Civil Liberties and Civil Rights violations, including illegal acts of bias, discrimination, malicious prosecutions, and conspiracy perpetrated against us by the Town of Madawaska employees and Board members. Many of these illegal acts were supported and led by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (IF&W), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Board of Environmental Protection (BOEP), the Maine Municipal Association (MMA), and the Maine State Legislature.

We also believe the Courts erred with decisions which contributed and encouraged the violations of our Civil Rights, Civil Liberties, and Constitutional Rights by all parties.
